The movement is working

We're at the table.

Two meetings are confirmed — with the people who actually decide. Every signature before these dates is weight we carry into the room.

June 16, 2026
Meeting with the Twin Falls Rec Center Committee (Parks & Recreation)
June 24, 2026
Meeting with the Mayor & City Manager

We'll post what comes of each meeting right here — check back after June 16 and June 24.

The Moment

Why a Movement?

The City of Twin Falls began exploring a recreation center in 2017. Parks & Recreation Director Wendy Davis and her committee have made real progress — a feasibility study is underway with BRS Architecture, land evaluation is active, and City Council voted in 2025 to continue the effort.

What's been missing isn't willingness. It's momentum.

Big civic projects in cities this size don't move on feasibility studies alone. They move when residents show up in numbers large enough that elected officials have the public air cover to act. That's true in Nampa, where 13,000 pre-sold charter memberships built the momentum for a rec center that's served the community for 30+ years. It's true in Idaho Falls. It's true everywhere these facilities get built.

That's what this movement is. Not a campaign against the city — a groundswell for it. Every signature on the petition, every survey response, every resident who contacts their council member is a signal that Twin Falls is ready. When the community leads, the city follows.

The fastest way to move this forward is to sign the petition. If you want to do more, contact your council members and let them know you support bringing the Troy Linden Recreation Center to Twin Falls.
